How it works.
 |
Your personal Member Home Page will automatically select your next class in the curriculum. Some classes will teach a new technique, other classes will focus on perfecting previously learned techniques through training drills. |
Our membership area contains hundreds of training videos organized into classes. As you complete each class the techniques and drills get more advanced. Complete the entire Phase and move on to the next Phase. Each class can be printed out and used as a reference. You watch the videos and head to your workout. We recommend recording your training periodically and uploading it to us for feedback on your training and technique. Maintaining communication with our members is essential and we encourage it.

Your progress in the curriculum is tracked so that you can easily tell how far along in the curriculum you have progressed. |
Learn at your own pace.
Each Total Defense System technique is presented with detailed instruction. Each technique is presented as a class that you, alone or with a partner, will train. For example, TDS Class 2. After detailed instruction on the technique you are presented with numerous drills to focus on that technique. The drills incorporate focus mitts, thai pads, heavy bags, shadow boxing and weapons training. A typical class consists of a warm-up, a technique to focus on, focus drills and extra training drills depending on the technique.
The PHIT™ program provides you with a detailed class for the day. All of them are intense. They are based on the physical training US Navy SEALs encounter, however anyone can do them. You decide how hard to push yourself.
Accelerated programs are available and you will be required to test out of Phase I at the TDI training center.
Track your progress.
As you complete the classes in each program you can track your progress and what drills you've completed and mastered. We will contact you from time to time to offer tips to reach your goals and inform you of new content that has been added to the website.
Our goal is to help you meet your self defense and fitness goals.
